used in the construction of contactless cards. The
inner
circuitry is made from the copper film laminates
(CCL) and the outer layers from the coated film materials.
The
substrates can be a wide variety of materials including
polyester, PVC, polycarbonate, ABS and epoxy glass.
GTS
offer a range of materials for the construction
of smart cards including adhesive coated glass epoxy
for the chip carrier, which can be constructed
to
meet different carrier and adhesive types to your
own specification. We make
coated polyester films for card manufacture enabling
the thickness of the card to be adjusted
and also balance the effects of the antenna circuit
carrier film as well as undertaking the manufacture
copper and aluminium laminates on a range of dielectrics
to meet the specific customer
requirements.
