GTS Flexible Materials Ltd originally achieved
accreditation to the international quality standard BS EN ISO 9001:1994 during
1996. Then, to satisfy the specific requirements of the automotive industry, the
Company also achieved accreditation to QS 9000 3rd Edition during
June 2000. More recently, GTS Flexible Materials Ltd successfully sought
registration to the new standards BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002
during July 2003.
Quality control and assurance has been fundamental to
the success of GTS Flexible Materials Ltd. Maintaining the highest standards of
quality, in the work undertaken by all employees of the Company, has contributed
to making GTS Flexible Materials Ltd a market leader in a highly competitive
global market.
Materials and services are purchased in accordance
with agreed specifications from Suppliers on our Approved Suppliers List. The
status and integrity of the product is maintained throughout the entire GTS
process with full traceability back to purchased materials. Fully trained
personnel carry out purchased material receiving inspection, process inspection,
product testing and final inspection on all the Company’s products utilising
calibrated equipment in a well-equipped laboratory and in the production areas,
ensuring product quality and on time delivery.
Regular auditing by both internal and external
auditors ensures the GTS Quality Management System maintains its continued
compliance to both the BS EN ISO
9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002
standards.
