GTS is
pleased to announce the launch of a new product series - GTS7890 / GTS3890 -
Copper-Clad Laminate (CCL) and Coverlay (CL) system. The adhesive
developed by GTS for use in this product series is a clear, non-halogen
epoxy adhesive. The adhesive was designed using information from the
European Union project 'Flexnolead' , which involves a number of companies
and academic institutions investigating the effect of lead-free soldering on
flexible circuit materials.
The aim application areas for the product
series are consumer electronics that need compliance to the strictest OEM
requirements, such as mobile phones or portable computers - typically these
requirements go beyond those of the RoHS directive.
The material is supplied in rolls slit to
customers requirements, with copper foils from 9 to 140 microns and PI films
from 12 to 125 microns
The clear adhesive system is also supplied
as a cast or free-film adhesive sheet for use with multilayer or flex-rigid
bonding.

skills in producing the film, and GTS experience in the coating and laminating
